TLS Names Its First Vice President, Peggy Bessent

TLS engages new prospective sponsors at BLK Swan to support young children’s education in Baltimore
Some people came knowing little about The Loyola School (TLS). Others knew quite a bit. Everyone, it is fair to say, got a deeper understanding of the mission and work of TLS during the recent Be My Guest Friendraiser in Baltimore City.
Establishing TLS as Part of the Neighborhood
On Saturday, July 16, The Loyola School (TLS) reached out to nine surrounding neighborhoods and hosted a free block party for its neighbors and their families — to get to know them and to help them get to know each other. The goal of the event was to help families learn about services and resources to strengthen the community while enjoying local food, music, and family-fun activities!

A plan to convert a series of rowhouses in Mount Vernon into a Catholic school was approved by a city preservation panel following changes to the design that sought to keep more of the historic buildings intact.
