Teachers & Staff

The Loyola School (Preschool and Elementary School) are staffed by teachers approved by the Maryland State Department of Education Office of Child Care.

Several teachers are currently enrolled at the Loyola University Maryland Graduate School. A majority of our teachers participate in MSDE’s Child Care Credential Program.

The Maryland Child Care Credential Program recognizes individual child-care providers who increase their qualifications beyond the requirements of state licensing and registration regulations.

The Loyola School has achieved a Maryland EXCELS Level 3 quality rating.

“I decided to teach in Baltimore City because I wanted to show my students and younger children that someone who looks like them can accomplish great things and that someone who is a native of Baltimore City can go out, come back and help their community.”
